Out of Step
Stacey Nzisa

They didn’t tell me
of fatigue
will and
laziness

or how
borders
are made up,
mothers leave
and what
separates man
is within

only of
parts of onions
geometry
and how
light is a wave
of particles
Stacey Nzisa is a Kenyan Poet. She lives as a coward and moonlights as a dragon scribe. Her first love is family, a comedy series, and life in Nairobi, Kenya's Capital.
